The gig economy is growing and it's both an expression of individuals wanting to gain freedom in their work life, and the platform economy's pursuit of dominance, network effects, and the skewed power balance between gig worker rights and platforms' incentive to gain control.
A meta digital infrastructure enabling gig workers to own and move their data between platforms. A way to incorporate the Swedish model of work negotiation by building a structure of power to gig workers—namely the ability to easily move to an alternative platform. This led to the creation of a discussion forum for public sector actors, private actors, public sector innovation structures, and political actors.
